"Bibbo Gloats Over Honor of His Contest

Sky Writing of His Greatness Is Artist's Idea So Juniors May Try the Fun

BY BIBBO THE CAT

Meow, beautiful me! Do look at the wonderful picture that the artist, E. A. Burbank, drew for me! In the
original was an airplane writing in the sky of my fame and so Mother Hubbard thought it would be fun to have the Juniors do that work. She is keeping the original picture which has his idea and what fun it will be to see what clubmates do. I shall watch for the mailman very eagerly every day. And besides that, Mr. Burbank drew a handsome sketch of me which you will see printed some day. Oh, I'm a famous, grand fellow! Yes?

Now let me get down to business. I'll peek in my mailbag and see what I can see...

They See Sky-Writing Bibbo the Cat

The artist, E. A. Burbank, made up this contest and drew the beautiful picture. The original shows an airplane in the sky writing in smoke, "Bibbo the Cat, The News, 1938." This part has been taken from the reproduction so Juniors may draw their own airplane writing the words. Juniors may color this picture. Complete it as suggested - paste it to larger paper if necessary. Place name, age, address on the work. Have it reach The News by not later than ... o'clock Friday morning. The 24 who do best work will each earn a box of Quick Fudge mix made and delivered by Golden Nugget Sweets. Ltd."
